Dr Juliette Ango

Dr. Juliette Ango is a Consultant, Public Health Physician with a minimum of 17 years of experience in medical practice and active public health service with a wide range of knowledge and skills in infectious diseases and epidemic control, health system strengthening, primary health care systems, quality improvement, project management, service delivery, health promotion, and global health security.


She has an excellent understanding of the Nigerian Health Systems and Global Health and has worked and engaged with stakeholders at both National and Sub-national levels, including non-governmental organizations such as Breakthrough Action Nigeria-USAID, to mention a few. She has served as a National Master trainer on the Community Health Influencers, Promoters, and Services Programme with the National Primary Health Care Development Agency. Dr Ango is passionate and selfless about creating awareness and enlightening the barrack/general population on common health issues and empowering them to make informed decisions concerning their health.


She is a seasoned facilitator and has trained healthcare workers from the community level to the national level and audiences of diverse backgrounds, coupled with being a team player with excellent leadership and managerial skills.


Dr. Ango has strong academic qualifications, which include a Postgraduate Fellowship in Public Health, a Master’s in Public Health; a trained field epidemiologist with NCDC/US-CDC, and certifications from the World Health Organization, the Royal College of Physicians, West African College of Physicians, University of Washington, etc.
